Getting ready to go into surgery bright and early! It was a scheduled c-section at 39 wks.
The first few weeks home were crazy. Thank GOD for my sweet husband who never fails to help out around the house. He kind of took over with Maggie and Miller for a little while, so i could spend lots of time nursing, changing diapers, and mainly doing this!!
It was love at first sight for Maggie!! She wants to hold him ALL the time and gives him kisses every second! She is my BIG HELPER. She retrieves burp cloths, diapers, pacis, mylicon, you name it! I couldn't be doing this without her!
Miller on the other hand, didn't pay Russ any attention for 5 full weeks. He didn't act out at all, but he just kind of ignored Russ like he wasn't even there. Finally, after 5 weeks, he asked to hold Baby Russ and it was over from there. I think he realized this little guy was here to stay and he finally embraced it. Now he is so adorable and loves on Russ all the time.
"HELP" screams Russ.
Russ looks just like Maggie did as a baby. And they look like twins here.
Getting too big too fast.
2 month stats: 12 lbs. (60th percentile), 23 7/8 inches (75th percentile), and can't remember head but it was big (95th percentile). Long and lean like his daddy.
Russ is the perfect addition to our family. He is cooing and talking and smiling all the time. He is SO good and I could just snuggle with him all day long. He has rolled over 3 times now and is getting really good at tummy time and holding his head up!
And it's almost time for our 3 month picture. Where does the time go?
