We finally got some family pictures made!!

Update:Part 1

Well, I promise I have a good excuse for not blogging in a month. My hard drive crashed and I have not been able to do anything on my computer!! We finally got a new one and everything is restored thank goodness!!

I have missed you guys...or more like missed my blog therapy. I have lots of pictures to share so I'm doing it in 2 blogs! Happy Looking!

Memorial Weekend was a lot of fun this year! We went down to the coast with the Pierce family for some good seafood, pier walking, beach playing, shrimp getting, HOT HOT Day!!

She loved to look in the water for pish(fish).

Pop and Mags

Part 2

Miss Priss all ready for swimming lessons, until she realized we still had 30 minutes to leave.

Then this happened...

Yes, I get this face quite often these days...

She did great at swimming lessons. She is a little fish and loves the water. She wasn't very good at kicking though, so we have been practicing in the bath tub. She LOVES to jump off the side of the pool!

This past weekend we did some more swimming. Poor thing was covered in 8 layers of sunscreen, a short sleeve shirt, and a sun hat! There was NO way the sun was burning this gal. That's what happens when daddy dresses her! :)

Fathers Day this year was wonderful. I was feeling a bit emotional as I reflect on how very blessed I am. I have the world's best dad. I only wish I could share him with everyone around the world who doesn't have a dad like him. I also have the world's best husband, who is also a fantastic dad!! You should come to my house around 5:30 every evening when Brian comes home from work. The look on Maggie's face will tell you right away what a wonderful dad he is!!

This is what Maggie tells me now. I really don't know a sweeter sound than the sound of that. It warms my heart like no other.

Maggie is really talking a lot these days. She repeats pretty much anything you ask her to say. She is putting 3 and 4 words together now. She counts to 10 like 1,2,5,8,9,10. We are missing some numbers so we've been working on that. ha! She is sweet as pie and I could just eat her up.

We've spent alot of time outside playing. Planting flowers, watering flowers, playing in the baby pool, blowing bubbles, etc. etc. The girl goes to the door and begs to go outside. I have a feeling I will spend many afternoons in the baby pool with her this summer!

She removed all the books out of her crate and thought it was the funniest thing in the world to climb inside.

1 1/2 is definitely my favorite age. I know I said all the others were but I promise this is my favorite. If I could only freeze time...

Things to come...

1- I'm working on her big girl room now! Pics to follow

2- We start swimming lessons in 2 weeks. I can't wait!!

3- Potty training...maybe. She is definitely showing signs she wants to...but do I want to?????

Brians Birthday

I have to document Brians bday so we will remember what we did. Maggie stayed at my parents house that night so Brian and I could enjoy a night on the town! Well we went to dinner at Tabellas and were home by 8 o'clock! ha! Now many years ago, we would have taken this opportunity for some fun out on the town. But I guess we are old folks now. We ate dinner, stopped at Walgreens and bought gummy bears, came back and put on our jammies and rented a movie in bed! It was wonderful!! Now that is what I call a perfect night!
